Aspen came in as a stray with his fellow companion Husky, Echo (already adopted). They were living in separate foster homes to become more independent of one another. Aspen is doing well with his foster brother and sister and has settled in seamlessly.
Aspen gets along with other dogs and, like any typical young Husky, is very playful. He appears to have the Husky prey drive, getting very excited about going after squirrels he sees on his walks. Otherwise he walks well on lead.
Aspen is housebroken and very friendly with those he meets. He is afraid of cars when on walks and is also not a fan of getting into a car. He should be able to overcome this once he feels more secure in his surroundings, knows he is safe, and that car rides are not all that bad. Being new to rescue we will update his information once we learn more about Aspen.
Aspen is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, Heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. He is easy going and just wants to be in a loving home, preferably with a playmate. This boy will generate a lot of attention from your neighbors when you walk him so be prepared. Make him yours; fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
