Dog Name: Guera
Number: 613
Age: 2 Years (DoB 11/2013 est) Sex: Female
Coat: Red and White
Eyes: Bi-eyes (one Blue, one Brown)

Intake: 11/7/2015

Guera was severely neglected in her previous life and is now getting her second chance to have the life she deserves. She is very sweet and was in extremely poor shape at the time the shelter took her in.

***Graphic Warning*** Here is a picture of just how badly Guera was treated and the condition she was in when first taken in by the shelter. They did a wonderful job getting her back to good health and Guera herself is now a testament to the spunk, strength of character and zest for life inherent in Siberian Huskies. Her hair is growing in nicely so she just has to wait a while and put on some weight for her outer beauty to match her inner beauty.

Guera is very affectionate and seeks attention any time she can. She gets along with most dogs, but does not do well with small dogs. She is also not cat friendly. Guera is full of Husky energy being that she is still young and acts very much like a pup. She enjoys going anywhere with her humans and does well on the car ride getting there.

She pulls when being walked on lead so is learning to walk properly when taken outside. Being that she was neglected, Guera has some separation anxiety so she will need a home, at least initially, where she is not left alone for extended periods of time.

Guera will keep herself entertained with her toys, tossing them up into the air and then going after them. She likes to chew on her bones, especially if they are stuffed with something yummy to lick. She also enjoys playing fetch with a tennis ball.

She is very social and likes to approach anyone she meets. They may even be lucky enough to receive her Husky kisses. Guera is good with children but sometimes is too excited around them and may inadvertently knock little ones over.

Guera is Heartworm negative, housebroken (mostly), up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped. She is eager to put her past behind her and give her loyalty and companionship to a loving, forever home. Fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
