Kinou is a young, handsome brown-eyed boy. He has a super sweet and loving personality, constantly giving butterfly kisses and nuzzles. He prefers his humans to his dog friends but once he warms up he gets along extremely well with other dogs. His prey drive is typical Husky, so he needs a little work to control his chasing of squirrels and please use caution around cats.
Although Kinou was found as a stray and was very malnourished, he is being well cared for by his foster family and will be back to his “fighting weight” in short order. He was also flea-infested and his ears got quite chewed up but he is now flea-free and the hair on his ears is growing back nicely.
He is housebroken and has learned to do his business outside. Kinou is a good listener and follows directions well. He already knows the "sit" command and takes treats gently from your hand. It seems all he wants to do is please his humans!
Kinou is crate trained but will probably never need one since he is not destructive and prefers to be among his human and canine pals. He does well on a leash but sometimes requires correction and re-direction when a stray lizard or bird crosses his path.
He is a sweet young boy with a lot of energy but once he’s had his walk or play, he also loves to just chill out and curl up near his humans. He’s a beautiful loving boy who also does great around kids.
Kinou is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all his shots. Youngsters this well mannered, loyal and affectionate do not come along every day. If you get to meet him, you’re going to want this dog! Fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
