Calvino is a sweet and very active young pup that came to our rescue as an owner surrender from someone who was unable to care for him. He arrived with one of the worst cases of demodectic mange we've ever seen. With the care of his foster Mom, he has received treatment and is looking more and more like the handsome boy he really is. Now that his hair is almost all grown back you can see that there's something magical about the Isabella White color and dark brown eyes; impish yet serious.

Calvino is very playful and gets along well with other dogs both male and female. He loves to wrestle with dogs his own size and has shown himself to be playful with older children. Not knowing his own strength, his rambunctiousness may present a problem for unsteady toddlers.

At times, he may show some possessiveness over toys, which is not uncommon in younger dogs. Supervision while toys are lying around is recommended. His demeanor around cats is unknown so we recommend caution in that circumstance.

He is quite the counter surfer, so care must be taken when leaving food out on the kitchen counter until this behavior is corrected. Because he is still a puppy, a good supply of chew toys will go a long way in keeping him entertained and out of trouble. He has made excellent progress in his training, as you can see in the video below.

Calvino is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, housebroken, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. If a young puppy is what you are looking for, Calvino is the perfect one. He is at that age where some thoughtful training will help him become what Huskies are bred for, the perfect lifetime companion.
