Dog Name: Carlos
Number: 413
Age: 1 Year (DOB 7/29/09) Sex: Male
Coat: Black & White
Eyes: Blue

Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe this strikingly handsome boy. Carlos is everything a Husky should be and then some; lithe, energetic and walks with a spring in his step. He loves car rides and likes to go for runs/walks/bike rides w/ people.

He walks well when on leash; wanting to meet any other dog he comes across and if he sees a cat or squirrel, you will want to hold the leash with two hands. Like all Huskies, he should be watched around small animals and especially cats. It’s probably best to just not have a cat in the home at all.

Being only a year old he still has the instinct to protect his food from other dogs and wants to be first in line for treats which can cause some jostling, especially if there are other dogs vying for the same goodies. This usually gets cured over time with some positive reinforcement training.

Because of his natural enthusiasm he should be watched around small children as he could bump and knock over an unsteady toddler.

He gets along with male and female dogs but is wary of alpha/dominant types, probably because he displays some of those tendencies himself.

Carlos is crate trained, housebroken, up to date on his shots, neutered and micro chipped. He will also sit, shake & give kisses when asked.

Being so new to rescue, information is sparse but we will update this page as new information becomes available.

This wonderful guy is ready to be adopted by a loving family so please give him a chance at a new forever home and fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page today.
