Dog Name: Throttle
Number: 565
Age: 1 Year (DoB 7/2013 est.) Sex: Male
Coat: Agouti
Eyes: Brown
Intake: 6/16/2014

Throttle is a notable exception to the usual Siberian Huskies we get a chance to rescue. His Agouti coloring is very rare, more often found in racing/working lines rather than conformation/show lines. He was found wandering the streets with two other dogs and went unclaimed by his owner; which is hard to imagine given how sweet and loving he is.

He was appropriately named for his penchant to run around the yard at top speed, being so full of young Husky energy and his love for bouncing around and non-stop playing. Check out his movie link at the bottom of this page.

Throttle is very friendly with everyone he meets whether humans or dogs of all sizes. On the other hand, he has shown himself to be interested in going after cats and other small animals so caution is advised. He walks well on the leash but likes to be in front.

Throttle is learning his basic commands as it appears that so far he doesn't know any and his housebreaking training is under way. He is a counter surfer so watch your rib roast until he gets trained out of the habit. He’s also a big time digger so be on the lookout for escape tunnels under your fence.

He enjoys playing in the water as he has been caught splashing in the turtle pond. He also plays fetch. Throttle is an affectionate face-licker longing for attention, companionship, and a playmate. Put on your running shoes and warm up your throwing arm if you are interested in adopting this handsome Husky.

He is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. Expect to frequently be asked “What kind of dog is that?” if you adopt this boy. If you want to be the envy of the neighborhood with such a rare dog, fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
