Dog Name: Sky IV
Number: 617
Age: 1 Year (DoB 3/2015 est) Sex: Female
Coat: Black and White
Eyes: Blue

Intake: 2/6/2016

Sky came to SHRF though a Good Samaritan who took her in from someone else who was going to turn her into a shelter when they could no longer care for her.

Sky gets along well with other dogs but is not cat friendly. She loves to play so would do ideally in a home where she has a doggie playmate to help her burn off all that Husky energy. Sky is respectful and submissive to other dogs if they don't want anything to do with her.

Sky is a sweet high energy Husky girl who is very loving towards her humans. She enjoys sleeping next to the bed and being near people. She is crate trained, although does not like to be in there and has been known to escape from the crate. Sky has separation anxiety when left alone so would do best in a home where she is not left by herself for too long. She is a typical Husky escape artist and can't be left unattended outside as she has been known to jump a 6 foot fence.

Sky is housebroken and walks well on lead. If you let her loose out in the backyard, watch out and stay out of her way as she will take off like a rocket and run around all over. Sky also likes to dig in the dirt for fun (as seen in one of her pictures with her happy dirt faced smile). She is a snuggle bunny and can't get enough attention as she likes to constantly be in close contact with her humans.

Sky is healthy, Heartworm negative, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and microchipped. Let this girl liven up your life; fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
