Jessie is a handsome young Husky boy, who was an owner surrender to a shelter as they did not have the time to work with him and give him the attention and exercise that he needs - and deserves.
Be careful to not fall too quickly for his good looks. He is an active Husky and would do best in a home that can keep up with him to get the exercise he needs. When he first came into rescue Jessie did not have the best house manners but now he is the quite the gentleman and knows his household duties.
As are most young Huskies, Jessie is full of energy. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive better in a home where he has a playmate. Jessie and his foster brother spend a good deal of time running and wrestling, so by the evening he is ready to cuddle up on the sofa. He needs a little more work when walking on lead as he is very strong and will pull to get where he wants to go explore.
Jessie is one of the sweetest, most happy-go-lucky male Huskies that we have had in rescue. He hasn’t met a dog or person that he does not like. In fact, he is known in the neighborhood as “the lover” because he gives hugs and kisses to anyone willing to receive them. He does not need to be crated when left alone, although he does not mind being in his crate. A bone will keep him happy for days and he loves to play with toys, especially tug of war with his foster brother.
Jessie is healthy, Heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. He is an all around fun Husky who will make a great addition to almost any home; fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
