What an exquisitely beautiful girl! Malina is named after a solar deity in Inuit (formerly called Eskimo, although this term is now considered offensive by most) mythology.
When Malina first came to us, she was a scared, timid girl. Since then, she has turned into a typical Husky youngster - a bundle of energy who loves everybody she meets. She is always ready to lick your face, cuddle, and try to crawl into your lap. When it comes right down to it, Malina loves everything – walks, chew bones, squeaky toys, balls, food, treats, dogs of any size or shape, men, woman, and children. We don’t know about cats, though. She even runs into her crate when it’s time to eat or for her pre-bedtime treats.
Any adopter must take into account that, being a youngster, Malina is not yet fully housebroken. Although her development in that area is going well, she still has the occasional accident in the house. Apparently, she does not have her humans fully trained yet.
She is still in her teething process and in the chewing stage. She just loves to chew. Malina will sit for a treat and is food motivated, but she will need someone who has the time to work with her on her obedience lessons.
Malina has boundless energy and needs a good outlet for its release, or she will definitely get into mischief. Frequent walks or trips to the dog park will go a long way toward de-energizing her. Given adequate exercise and attention, Malina settles very nicely in the house. Of course, she also gets into the typical Husky wrestling matches with her foster sister. After all, she’s a puppy and everything is still SO much fun.
Malina is healthy, crate trained, semi-housebroken, microchipped and up-to-date with all her shots. A veritable clean slate for whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.
