Nelson, an Isabella White Siberian Husky, is a timid, sweet, shy, passive boy. He is breathtaking with his pure white coat and crystal sky-blue eyes. He stops traffic with his stunning looks everywhere his foster parents take him.
Nelson is about 18 months to 2 years old with an unknown past; however, his ultra passivity may indicate possible neglect and abuse. He tends to be distracted with the other dogs in his foster home and thus he has been slow to bond with his humans. When Nelson is free from the distraction of other pets he is much more likely to seek out a human companion, however he is still somewhat shy of being touched.
Nelson is a very quiet dog and needs someone to make him trust people again. He is adoring of his canine friends, completely ignores cats and birds and is very trustworthy with children. His fosters say this with absolute confidence, as Nelson lives with five young boys, three other canines, a cat and a cockatoo – all of whom roam the house freely.
Nelson’s fosters believe he would benefit most by being the only dog in the home. This would allow him to have someone’s undivided attention and love in order to gain some faith in humanity again. That said, Nelson is fine to be home unattended during the day. He is not destructive and does not seem to have any other idiosyncrasies.
His fosters have complete faith in this young boy’s beautiful soul, just needing a chance to blossom. When he does find his true human companion(s), his loyalty and dedication will be unwavering! Love, patience, faith and dedication are the key elements in giving Nelson his forever home. He just needs an opportunity and a gentle show of trust for him to believe in people again.
Nelson is healthy, crate trained (probably not necessary), housebroken, microchipped and up-to-date with all his shots. Who will be the lucky person to adopt this elegant boy? It could be you if you fill out an adoption application at the upper left corner of this page, today.
