Wow, a rare treat! Khalhua is a red and white Siberian with amber eyes – an awesome comination.
She’s kind of a beta girl willing to let the pushier dogs go ahead of her and bides her time. Once she gets to know other dogs, she becomes quite playful.
Khalhua is VERY affectionate and will lay on her back for as long as you have the patience to rub her belly. Once you stop, you get rewards with some face licks and nuzzles. She loves to be close to her humans, both during the day and at night where she likes to cuddle.
She is house trained and crate trained but the crate will probably not be necessary. She walks well on her leash and has not shown herself to be a counter surfer.
Khalhua responds to commands well (as well as you can expect from a Husky) but if there’s a bird or some lizards in sight – Fuggeddaboutit! She probably should stay away from cats and other small animals, too.
Khalua is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all her shots. Since she is new to our rescue in August 2010, any new information on her will be added as it becomes available.
